Michaelson receives awards

Harrington writer David Michaelson has received medals from the Military Writer’s Society of America for two of his books. His young readers book “Butterfly Dust” received the Gold Medal, while the story “Rapscallion Summer” was awarded the Silver Medal for humor.

Michaelson’s latest book, “The Adventures of Gopher Piddington,” is now available along with the collection of his other publications at the Davenport Times office, The Ritzville Art Gallery, Cow Creek Mercantile and through major online booksellers....
