It seems as though it was only yesterday that buses were making their rounds under a bright early morning sky, shipping fleets of happy, excited, and anxious students down to Lind-Ritzville Middle School for the first day of school.
As textbooks flipped and pencils scribbled, leaves began to wither and the sun began to descend lower into the sky. Now, students find themselves near the summit of the first of four rolling hills, each representing one academic quarter.
