Dr. Jacob D. Kragt earns degree

Dr. Jacob D. Kragt received his chiropractic degree and served as co-valedictorian, during the Oct. 18 commencement exercises at Palmer College of Chiropractic (PCC) in Davenport, Iowa.

Dr. Jacob is the ninth Kragt family member to graduate from PCC. He is the first of the third generation of Kragt chiropractors to complete the doctor of chiropractic degree with five academic years of professional study at PCC.

Prior to attending PCC, Dr. Jacob attended Eastern Washington University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology.

Dr. Jacob is a 2005 graduate of Ritzville High School, the son of Dr. Warren and Joleen Kragt of Ritzville, and the grandson of the late Dr. Harvey Kragt of Colfax. Also in attendance at graduation were his uncle, Dr. Mike Kragt of Italy; and great-uncle, Dr. John Kragt of Iowa.

Dr. Jacob is married to Mallory and together they have a son, Kayson.

They currently reside in Cashmere, Wash., and plan to establish a clinic in Wenatchee.
