In celebration of the 100-year affiliation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) with the Boy Scouts of America, an event titled “A Century of Honor” is being held on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at the LDS church in Ritzville beginning at 5 p.m.
The local Boy Scout troops are inviting all boys ages eight to 13, and their families, to join this unique event, which begins with a meal of hot dogs and chips. Following the meal is a presentation and a special satellite broadcast from Salt Lake City, Utah, highlighting important events, service and achievements from the past century.
