Good Hope Lutheran to celebrate 115 years, announces Oktoberfest

Good Hope Lutheran Church in Lind is set to celebrate 115 years of ministry at the annual Oktoberfest celebration on Sunday, Oct. 27, at the Lind Senior Center.

The celebration begins with morning worship at 9 a.m., under the direction of Pastor Mary Daniels and featuring Eastern Washington-Idaho Synod Bishop Martin Wells. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Following morning worship is the bake sale and meal beginning at 11 a.m. The popular Oktoberfest meal consists of German smoked sausage, mashed potatoes with butter, sauerkraut, green beans, applesauce and bread. In honor of the 115-year celebr...
