Robert L. Werner

Robert (Bob) L. Werner died at the age of 80 on Thursday, Sept. 26, in Spokane.

He was born to Alex “Sandy” and Sara (Koch) Werner in Ritzville. He was the oldest of five children.

He joined the Navy in 1950 and after returning home in 1954, he married Pat Azlen.

He is survived by three children, Lori, Mark and Jill; brothers, Dale (Barbara) Werner of Austin, Texas, and Jimmy (Hattie) Werner of Ritzville; sisters, Joanne (Harold) Thaut of St. Maries, Idaho, and Donna Rae (Dallas) Haag of Kent; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be Friday, Oct. 4, at 11 a.m. at Ritzville Memorial Cemetery. Danekas Funeral Home and Crematory of Ritzville is entrusted with the arrangements.
