City approves dispatch contract

Ritzville City Council members unanimously approved an updated local inter-agency agreement with Adams County for police dispatch and jail services.

This is a renewal of a longstanding agreement between the city and the county. The new agreement covers 2014 and will cost the city $24,047. The payment is due at the end of January 2014. The agreement represents a five percent increase in the cost.
