The LaCrosse-Washtucna/Kahlotus Tigercat football team takes to the field for the first time this season on Friday, Sept. 6, at the Washtucna field with kick-off at 7 p.m.
The Tigercats are now under the direction of head coach Justin Ziebell, who is serving his first year in the head coaching slot after serving as an assistant coach last season.
The Tigercats are battling against Wilbur-Creston in the season’s first match up and will set the benchmark for the rest of the season. The team graduated eight starting seniors last year, but returns to the field with starting quarterback Joey Guske. With last year’s veteran squad, the Tigercats found success in the game against Wilbur-Creston with a landslide win of 54-14.
