Women’s Bible study course begins next month

A non-denominational women’s Bible study is being held this fall on the Biblical Old Testament character of Gideon. The study is based on the writings of Priscilla Shirer.

She and her husband, Jerry, lead Going Beyond Ministries, through which they provide spiritual training, support and resources. With a master’s degree in biblical studies from Dallas Theological Seminary, Priscilla brings the depths of Scripture to life. She has written nine Bible studies and seven books.

The study consists of 13 sessions, offered Monday evenings from 6:30-8 p.m., and Tuesday afternoons from 1-3 p.m., where childcare is offered. It is to be held at the Ritzville Nazarene Church located at 108 West Fourth Ave. The first session begins Sept. 9-10 and concludes Dec. 9-10.
