Second graders welcome to ride fire truck

Students beginning the second grade this September are invited to take a ride through downtown Ritzville on a fire truck for the annual Labor Day weekend parade the morning of Aug. 31.

Second graders are to meet at the fire station at the corner of First Avenue and Adams Street between 10:30-10:45 a.m. for loading onto the trucks.

The trucks will return the youth to the fire station for a treat, where parents can pick them up following the parade....
