WSP reminds adults, avoid leaving children alone in cars

As the warmest month of the year approaches, the Washington State Patrol is urging adults to never leave a young child alone in a car, especially in the sun.

In 2013, at least 19 children nationwide have lost their lives after being left unattended in a motor vehicle during sunny weather. To date, none of these deaths have occurred in Washington. The Washington State Patrol would like to offer parents information and suggestions to help avoid this tragedy.
