Chamber promotes Lind’s available homes

The Lind Chamber of Commerce recently created housing forms to allow Lind residents and other individuals interested in moving to the community with an easily accessible form to advertise available properties in the town.

The form allows residents to provide basic housing information to advertise rental properties or homes for sale in the Lind area. All of the forms are collected and placed in a three-ring binder in the Lind Town Hall office for accessibility purposes.

The chamber board members sent a form to all residents of the Lind community and instantly received a few responses. The chamber board is hoping the free service helps more property owners post their available homes to help the owner and also draw more individuals into the community.

The forms give owners an opportunity to provide basic information about their property, and owners are asked to include a photograph of the home if possible. The form includes information such as address, price, realty contact information, owner contact information, square footage, and the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms. Owners can also include if the property has a garage, fenced yard or a sprinkler system available at the home, as well as any additional information the owner wishes to provide.

The chamber is providing the forms as part of a community project in hopes of providing residents with a simple way of notifying others of sale and rental properties in Lind and the surrounding area. For the majority of new residents or individuals considering moving to the community, their first stop is at Town Hall and having the information easily accessible is important for the community.

The community project’s goal is to help strengthen the Lind community by assisting residents easily advertise their properties while simultaneously providing quality housing information to interested parties.

To assist residents with the forms, the Lind Chamber of Commerce has offered to take photos of available properties to provide with the forms, if the owner so desires.
