Cheryl Sieverkroop, daughter of Elena Sieverkropp and the late Eldred Sieverkropp of Ritzville, became the bride of Anthony Lantrip, son of the late Thurman and Norene Lantrip, on Sept. 15, 2012, at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Ritzville, with Pastor Bob Kenyon officiating.
The church was decorated with gold embossed pew bows made by the brides cousin, Sharon Bromiley; small jars of wheat on each windowsill embellished with royal blue, sunset orange and ivory ribbons; and an alter bouquet of orange gerbera daisies and white roses.
Del Schwisow provided the piano accompaniment and Diane McHenry played harp.
Her brothers, John and Dan Sieverkropp, escorted the bride to the altar.
The bride wore a sleeveless medium blue floor length gown accented with a jeweled midriff, and shawl draping over the neckline. Her hair was upswept with a silver jeweled comb and she wore a gold cross diamond necklace given to her by longtime friend Kelly Gilchrist.
The bride carried a bouquet of orange gerbera daisies and white roses accompanied with an ivory lace-trimmed handkerchief made by the brides’ cousin, Carol Garneau.
Garneau served as the matron of honor and wore a sleeveless black-tiered knee-length dress and carried a single orange gerbera daisy.
The groom was attired in a grey suit. Serving as best man was Charles Cox, who wore a black suit.
The groom’s grandson, Kole Stephens served as ring bearer and carried an ivory pillow made by Garneau, which was adorned with ivory and blue ribbons and an ivory white gold button.
For her daughter’s wedding, Elena Sieverkropp wore a navy knee-length dress with matching jacket.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the C.J. Newland American Legion Hall. The room was decorated with round tables covered in ivory tablecloths highlighted by a candle in the middle of silk autumn leaves.
The four-tired white wedding cake was made by the brides’ sister, Karen Okerlund.
The cake was decorated with white frosting accented by orange and blue flowers. Karen and her son Christopher presided at the cake table.
The guestbook was attended by the brides’ sister, Deanna Hoefner; the gift table was attended by the bride’s niece Rachael Okerlund; and the deejay was Jason Gilchrist, a friend of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of Ritzville High School and is currently employed at the Adams County treasurer’s office in Ritzville.
The groom graduated from Ontario High School in Ontario, Calif., and Riverside Community College where he studied digital electronics. He is currently employed at Fiber Re-Claim in Spokane.
The couple makes their home together in Elk, Wash.
