Eckley to return to hospital

Physician Valerie Eckley is poised to return to work at the hospital where she spent 16 years of her career.

Following a 30-minute executive session on Thursday, June 27, the commissioners for Adams County Public Hospital District No. 2 voted unanimously to authorize CEO Gary Bostrom to commence contract negotiations with Eckley. Jerry Crossler made the motion, which was supported by a second from Kirk Danekas.

“We will continue with the recruiting process for a full time physician,” Bostrom told the audience. “We are not certain how long Dr. Eckley will remain on staff.”
