LRS track team takes seven to state

The Broncos traveled to the 2B District 7 meet at Riverside High School on May 17 to qualify for the state track meet.

Seven LRS athletes earned the right to compete at the state track meet on May 24-25 at the Eastern Washington University campus.

The athletes qualifying for the state meet are Ryan Whitmore, Hugh Hennings, Maya Wahl, Caitlin Schoessler, Holly Nygren, Kate Schell and Heidi Hennings.

Schoessler, Wahl, Nygren and Schell qualified in the 4x100 and 4x200-meter relays. Schell is also competing in the 100 and 200-meter dash at the state meet.
