Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
On behalf of the City and myself, I would like to thank the many volunteers plus the RGA for all their support and labor during these past few months. Mike Lynch helped out in so many ways and organized the staffing of the clubhouse during the golf course transition. It took some real teamwork to accomplish many tasks.
The past several weekends the clubhouse, along with some badly needed repairs, was power washed, primed and painted. This was a helping hands project sponsored by the Thrivent organization and headed by Tony and Nancy Burke and again many volunteers and RGA members stepped forward to help along with Dan Duff, the golf course manager.
Our city park is also being spruced up, thanks to our local LDS Church group volunteers. This project includes power washing, and painting the gazebo and cooking area. They have painted all the picnic tables and stained the benches that decorate our downtown area.
I am so proud of the volunteerism in our town and the willingness to help out in so many areas. We appreciate and thank each and every one of you!
Linda Kadlec, Ritzville Mayor
