Zion Philadelphia Church to celebrate 125 years

The Zion Philadelphia United Church of Christ (UCC) of Ritzville is celebrating the 125th anniversary of the church the second Sunday in June.

The anniversary celebration is set to take place June 9 beginning at 3 p.m. in the fellowship hall. Church members are hosting the event and a free barbecue with cake and ice cream. The church requests reservations are made by Saturday, May 25, to allow for meal planning.

Everyone is welcome to attend the milestone anniversary celebration to learn about the history of Zion UCC and of previous generations of Ritzville’s German Congregations.
