Whitmore wins 110-meter hurdles, favored to win again

The Lind-Ritzville/Sprague track and field team traveled to Mt. Spokane to compete in the District 7 1B/2B team championships.

Ryan Whitmore was the only event champion of the day and moves on to the district competition as the event favorite in the 110-meter hurdles. He is currently ranked third in the state in the 110 hurdles and sixth in the state for the 300-meter hurdles.

Matt Fryberger is currently suffering from an injury but qualified for the district meet based on his recorded times this season.
