The Ritzville Public Library recently received the Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act (CHIPRA) grant from the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) to purchase a new computer and scanner.
The additional computer and scanner are available for residents to use to sign-up for benefits, such as food and medical, using the Washington Connection website developed by the state.
The computer has been installed at library staff members are available to assist customers with any questions about the program. Any specific questions about benefits can be directed to the CSO in Moses Lake at 509-764-5600, or residents can visit the mobile CSO, which travels to Ritzville on a monthly basis
