Arthur P. Ott

Arthur Paul Ott, died at the age of 96 on April 30 in Chewelah.

He was born on Oct. 28, 1916, to Albert and Elsie (Wellsandt) Ott in Ritzville. He grew up on a wheat farm near Ritzville, graduating from Ritzville High School in 1935.

He married Dorothy Franson on May 18, 1941, at her parent’s home on Crab Creek, north of Ritzville. They moved to what became known as West Acres farm near Addy in 1944, to begin a long and successful farming and ranching career.
