SJELW team gains track time in Oregon, girls take second

The St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse-Washtucna track team traveled to Milton-Freewater, Ore., on April 17 to compete in the District 9 1B/2B event.

The SJELW girls continue to be tough competition at the league meets and earned a second place finish overall with 66 points.

On the boys’ side, Darcy Stamper earned the only points for the team with a first place jump of 6-02 in the high jump.
