Morley leads local high school golfers

Logan Morley finished fourth overall among boys golfing at Deer Park Tuesday. He shot an 84 and was the top golfer for the Broncos.

The LRS boys, as a team finished in second with a 471, behind the Colfax Bulldogs and their 459.

Trevor Jantz was tied for seventh overall with an 86. The other LRS scores included: Colby Starring, 89; Brian Campbell, 99; Bryson Gering, 113; and Tyler O’Brien, 116.

Among the girls, Kristine Lamping shot a 108. Heather Hennings shot 143 and Caeli Ulrich had a 144.

In a match played on Tuesday, April 16, at Fairways, the boys did not place as a team. Morley finished sixth overall with a 90. Jantz tied for eighth with a 93 and Starring was tied for tenth with a 95.
