4-H clubs conduct joint April meeting

Members and leaders of Birds of Play and Cool Threads 4-H Club held a joint meeting on April 1.

First they painted their outhouses and planters. Scott Hollenback reviewed the GPS with them, how to program and how to follow the information to find geocaches.

The group then loaded up and headed toward Benge. The first cache found was Sons and Daughters of Pioneers. Scott told the group about the grave there. The club then found the Benge-Washtucna, Drip Drip, 99105, a hike down the old railroad bed to find Switch Back and then Breath of Fresh Air on our way home from geocaches. It was lots of fun and the group got exercise.

Attending were Lucas, Aubree and Tracee Sitton, TanAn, LienHoa, Huong and Scott Hollenback and Janette and Buck Hollenback.
