RGA announces events for golfers

With the arrival of spring weather, the Ritzville Golf Association has announced two upcoming events at the Ritzville Municipal Golf Course.

The sign ups for the local league are underway and individuals are asked to register in order for teams to be decided and for the competition to begin. The first day of league play is set to be April 17 and participants must be registered by April 14.

Golfers can sign up in person at the club house or can call 659-9868 to register. The cost is $40 per person.

The RGA is also playing an Opening Day Scramble on Sunday, April 21, with tee off set for 1 p.m. The cost of the scramble is $25, plus green fees.

The objective is to have enough golfers signed up to play four person teams at the scramble. Participants do not have to be members of the RGA and all golfers are welcome.
