The Ritzville Public Library has scheduled a week-long slate of activities for local students to fill their time during Spring Break.
On Monday, April 1, from 2-4 p.m., library staff members are hosting a Peeps Party.
The next day, Tuesday, April 2, from 2-4 p.m. kids can attend a Zombie Poetry to kick off National Poetry Month by writing some brain-rotting poems.
The Page Turners Book Club will meet Wednesday, April 3, beginning at 3:45 p.m. to discuss the monthly reading titled “Hatchet” by Gary Paulsen. New members are encouraged to attend.
On Thursday, April 4, from 2-4 p.m. the library staff will provide blocks to use as part of the Lego Club.
The week’s events conclude Friday, April 5, with Sweet Science. From 2-4 p.m. kids can come to the library to discover what happens when favorite candies are mixed with common household items.
