Lind Alumni’s annual banquet slated for May 11

Members of the Lind Alumni Association have announced the annual Alumni Banquet is to be held on Saturday, May 11, at the Lind-Ritzville Middle School gymnasium, formerly Lind High School.

Photos of the honored classes are scheduled to be taken by The Journal beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the gymnasium. It is requested members of honored classes be present at that time to be included in these photographs. Classes to be honored at the banquet include: 1953, 1963, 1973, 1983, 1993, 2003 and 2013.

The banquet and dinner begin at 6:30 p.m., with a catered meal by Cathy Jo’s Catering. Reservations are due by Friday, May 3. Limited seats are available at the door, but not guaranteed. The cost is $18.50 per individual.

The Virginia Moorman Moore scholarships and the Alumni scholarship are scheduled to be presented during the banquet to current graduating seniors. Alumni wishing to donate to the scholarship fund are requested to send donations to the alumni association. All scholarships are awarded to students that reside within the boundaries of the Lind School District.
