Golf course manager abruptly resigns

Cory Morley, manager of Ritzville Municipal Golf Course, abruptly resigned without giving a reason on Tuesday, March 5, just a couple weeks after signing a new contract.

Mayor Linda Kadlec read the letter of resignation into the record during Tuesday night’s city council meeting.

The letter stated Morley was resigning according to the terms of the contract, which allowed cancellation of the contract at any time upon notification.
