Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887

Busy Chamber day, March 14

A roster of several free workshops available through a partnership between WSU Extension and The Prosperity Center, which serves Adams and Grant Counties, will top the next Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce’s monthly meeting on Thursday, March 14.

Beginning at noon at The Ritz Roadhouse, Candi Jaeger from The Prosperity Center will discuss the various workshops that are available, as well as when and what workshops could be presented.

To date, two local businesses have already expressed interest in a couple of the workshops. Example of workshop topics includes Financial Education, Dave Ramsey’s Financial 12-week course, Crock Pot Cooking, Menu Planning, Starting Your Own Business, Financing Your Higher Education and more.

That same evening, Cow Creek Mercantile will host Business After Hours beginning at 5:30 p.m. and continuing until 7 p.m.

In addition to the tempting tastes of hors d’oeuvres and beverages, the local Girl Scout Troop will briefly give a presentation to those present.

Business After Hours events serve as an opportunity for area businesses who are chamber members in good standing to showcase their business while netwroking with attendees.

All chamber events are open to the public.

For more information, contact the chamber office at 659-1936, by email at [email protected] or online at http://www.visitritzville.com. The chamber office is located at 111 West Main Avenue.
