Amy Allison Garcia was granted her angel wings on Thursday, Feb. 21, at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, at the age of three.
She was born to Juan Garcia and Sindy Carrillo on Nov. 30, 2009, in Los Angeles, Calif.
She lived with her family in Lind. Her bright eyes, brilliant smile and infectious giggle brought great joy to whoever met her. She loved Mickey Mouse, Hello Kitty and the color pink. She loved being with her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was a very special sister to her little brother and the joy of her parent’s lives.
She is survived by her loving parents, Juan and Sindy and little brother, Johnny; paternal grandparents, Rodrigo Garcia and Patrocinia Arciniega; maternal grandparents, Laura Patricia Martinez and Roberto Martinez; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services will be held on Friday, March 1, at 1 p.m. at the Lind Community Church located at 114 East 5th Street in Lind. A private burial will follow at the Lind Cemetery. Pastor Jeremy McLellan will officiate. A dessert reception will follow at the church after the graveside services.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Amy Allison Garcia Memorial Fund, c/o Columbia Bank, 201 West Main, Ritzville, WA 99169. Danekas Funeral Home of Ritzville is entrusted with the arrangements.
