Hello, I’m the Lind-Ritzville High School student correspondent. This month several things have been going on at the high school.

On Feb. 20, the Honor Society sponsored the Inland Northwest Blood Center’s blood drive. They are sponsoring another blood drive on May 6.

Twenty-two students in FBLA are going to state FBLA.

The We-Lind-Ritzville group, a community service based club, have confirmed that they are going to go to the We-Day Seattle conference on March 27. Next month I will be covering the We-Lind-Ritzville trip to Seattle in more detail.

The seniors at the high school are starting to work on their senior projects. They are meeting with the school counselor and the principal weekly to work on them.

All during the month of February, the Lind-Ritzville High School students participated in the “26 Acts of Kindness”. Each day there was a different activity promoting kindness in the school. For instance, introducing yourself to someone you don’t know or simply smiling that day. The kids all seemed to have fun.
