Jan. 12, 9:45 p.m. – Dispatch advised of a possible assault on North I Street in Lind at Slims Tavern. Deputy Aaron Madison contacted the subjects at the location, all who had different accounts of what occurred. No one wanted to be a victim or press charges and Dep. Madison cleared.
Jan. 12, 8:23 p.m. – Lind complainant advised of an issue they are having with their landlord at East Fifth Street. Deputy Madison contacted the subject who advised they knew the landlord tenant laws and would follow them if necessary.
Jan. 12, 12:06 p.m. – Deputy Ben Buriak contacted and arrested Marcus James Chamberlain under an Adams County warrant.
Jan. 11, 12:35 p.m. – Deputy Dan Verhey responded to a possible assault on South Main Street in Washtucna. Ronnie Earl Dick was arrested for assault in the fourth degree, DUI and booked into the Adams County Jail.
Jan. 11, 8:24 a.m. – WSP Trooper Carmen Herrington observed a vehicle with a trailer blocking the roadway on West First Avenue in Ritzville. Trooper Herrington advised the truck may have slid off the roadway and was stuck. Deputy Verhey contacted the driver of the vehicle who advised they had stopped due to other trucks in the parking lot. The driver further advised they did not know their trailer was in the roadway.
Jan. 10, 5:07 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of a vehicle blocking the roadway on East Danekas Road and East Wellsandt Road. Deputy Madison checked the area and did not locate the described vehicle.
Jan. 9, 12:53 p.m. – Lind complainant requested contact regarding questions with a no contact order. Deputy Verhey contacted the complainant who advised they may have inadvertently made contact with a protected person and needed advise on how to handle the situation. Dep. Verhey advised the complainant to not make any statements or gestures to the subject and to leave the situation right away and contact the sheriff’s office.
Jan. 9, 9:48 a.m. – Adams County Jail requested agency assistance during a video court session due to an inmate showing past signs of aggression. Deputy Verhey assisted the jail as needed and cleared.
Jan. 8, 1:22 p.m. – Adams County Juvenile Court requested agency assistance during a juvenile hearing at the Superior Court. Sergeant Stacy Flynn stood by during the hearing and cleared without incident.
Jan. 8, 12:14 p.m. – Ritzville complainant advised of a UPS driver that was parked off the roadway and slumped over the wheel near North Paha-Packard Road. Sergeant Flynn responded to the area and the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
Jan. 8, 10:15 a.m. – Ritzville complainant advised their white Ford pickup is stuck on a dirt road off of North Paha-Packard Road. Complainant further advised they will return to retrieve the vehicle in the next couple of days. Deputy Verhey contacted the complainant to advise them they have 24 hours to remove the vehicle or it will be towed from the area.
Jan. 6, 12:39 p.m. – Complainant from Moses Lake requested contact regarding a possible theft at a residence on East Spokane Avenue in Washtucna. Deputy Buriak contacted the complainant who advised they had lived with a relative in Washtucna for several months in 2012, and upon leaving the complainant was allowed to store their property at the residence. The complainant further advised that since the death of the relative, their property was stolen, sold or thrown away. Dep. Buriak requested a list of the missing items.
