Rollover accident injures one

Excessive speed caused a single vehicle rollover accident on State Route 395, leaving one injured. The accident occurred five miles south of Ritzville on Jan. 11 at 8:50 a.m.

Kimberlee Ruth, 22, was traveling northbound on 395 when she lost control of the vehicle and crossed into the median, rolling one time. The Pendleton driver was transported to East Adams Rural Hospital and the damaged 2008 Dodge Ram pickup was towed to B&B Towing. Ruth was wearing a restraint at the time of the accident.

The cause of the accident was attributed to speeding and charges for speeding have been filed.
