This year, the Pheasants Forever members have been involved in projects such as the on-going hunter education classes in Lind and Ritzville, food source plantings and restoration of guzzlers in existing habitats, brush pile habitats for game birds and rabbits, five gallon bucket grain feeders, youth mentor hunt and field day, youth trapshooting programs in Lind, Ritzville and Washtucna, sponsoring Lind-Ritzville FFA trapshooting teams and co-sponsor of the Ritzville junior triathlon.

In 2012, youth projects in conjunction with the Pheasants Forever “No Child Left Indoors” have been the group’s first priority. As part of the effort to engage more youth, the group hosted the sixth annual youth mentor field day at the Ritzville Gun Club in November.
