Dec. 22, 7:37 p.m. –
Ritzville complainant requested a hulk vehicle form on East Franz Road. Deputy Jeffrey Lane responded and provided the proper paperwork.
Dec. 22, 3:43 p.m. –
Ritzville complainant advised dispatch of a male and female subject at their house asking to test the well water on East Rosenoff Road. The subjects were contacted earlier in the day by the sheriff’s department so dispatch advised they were with Northwest Water and Air Testing.
Dec. 22, 2:43 p.m. –
Ritzville complainant advised of theft of items on East Lind-Ralston Road. Deputy Lane talked to the homeowner who asked Dep. Lane to contact the complainant. The complainant is not answering the phone and unable to leave a message.
Dec. 22, 1:12 p.m. – Complainant from Ephrata advised of a possible theft from a location on East Cunningham Road in Lind. Deputy Aaron Madison responded to investigate further.
Dec. 22, 11:30 a.m. –
Lind complainant advised of a possible domestic on North S Street in Lind. Deputy Madison responded and contacted the complainant who advised they were in an argument with another subject and the subject pushed the complainant down. The subject left the area on foot and was not located. The complainant did not want to provide a written statement.
Dec. 21, 9:37 a.m. –
Deputy Dan Verhey responded to a citizen assist at the sheriff’s office. The complainant advised they were contacted by jail staff, while in court session. The complainant requested assistance in determining why they were being contacted.
Dec. 21, 8:05 a.m. –
Ritzville complainant reported a cow in the area of North Marcellus Road and East Arlt Road that was possibly injured. Deputy Verhey checked the area and found the cow. The cow was not injured and was not a traffic hazard at that time. Dispatch made contact with the possible owner of the cow to check the area.
Dec. 21, 2:51 a.m. –
Washtucna complainant called advising their spouse was being abusive and they wanted them removed from the residence on South Elm Street. The complainant further advised the abuse is an ongoing problem and they are sick of it. Complainant advised they locked themselves in the bathroom until a deputy arrives. Sergeant Stacy Flynn responded and transported the complainant to Ritzville.
Dec. 20, 11:02 a.m. –
While on patrol Deputy Adolfo Coronado came across a subject walking along the roadside on South Highway 261 near Washtucna. The subject advised they were walking to Washtucna. Dep. Coronado gave the subject a ride to their destination.
Dec. 20, 5:24 a.m. –
Washtucna complainant advised of a collision at a location on East Providence Road and North Marcellus Road. Deputy Lane responded.
Dec. 19, 3:51 p.m. –
Ritzville complainant advised of items possibly being taken or set up, to be taken, from a location on East Lind-Ralston Road. Deputy Madison responded and took the report from the complainant.
Dec. 19, 8:16 a.m. –
Odessa complainant reported their checks were stolen from their mailbox and money has been taken from their account.
Deputy Ben Buriak contacted the complainant on West Arlt Road who provided information regarding their account. Over $2,500 has been written in checks from the account.
The account is now closed and he subject who wrote the checks has been identified.
Dec. 19, 12:47 a.m. –
While on patrol Deputy Verhey found a door at the Washtucna Medical Clinic unsecure. The building was checked and the door was secured.
Dec. 16, 9:14 p.m. – Life Alert Alarm activated from West Second Street in Lind. Complainant advised a subject fell and could not get up. Sergeant Troy Mock responded to the address and the subject was up walking around and was okay. Subject stated they wanted to get checked out. A short time later Fire and EMS arrived and Sgt. Mock cleared.
Dec. 16, 8:45 p.m. – Lind complainant advised of a possible domestic on East Sixth Street in Lind.
Deputy Verhey and Sergeant Mock responded and determined it was only a verbal and no assault took place.
The male party agreed to leave for the evening. Dep. Verhey stood by until the subject left and he cleared.
Dec. 16, 11:11 a.m. – Deputy Madison responded to an agency assist call on East Fifth Street in Lind. Child Protective Services requested standby.
