Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
The Ritzville U.S. Bank branch has welcomed Brylee Edwards as the new assistant manager for the local branch.
Edwards began her tenure as assistant manager on Monday, Dec. 17, after transferring from the Harrington bank branch.
Edwards was born and raised in Hartline, where she grew up on a wheat farm. The Ritzville community has already begun to feel like home for Edwards, who is accustomed to small town life and farming.
“All through high school I just wanted to get out. But during college I realized how much I missed it,” Edwards said. “I’m a country girl at heart.”
Edwards began her career after attending Eastern Washington University and Spokane Falls Community College.
She worked for People to People in Airway Heights helping book flights for nearly three years, before transitioning into banking.
The interest in banking began for Edwards at a young age, as her grandmother served as the vice president of a local bank.
Edwards always wanted to follow in her footsteps and applied for a job at U.S. Bank.
For the past three years, Edwards has worked for U.S. Bank at the Davenport branch, and recently at the Harrington branch. Edwards currently resides in Davenport, but said she is enjoying becoming a part of the Ritzville community.
“This is the best team I’ve worked with,” Edwards said of her coworkers at the Ritzville branch.
Customers at the local U.S. Bank branch can expect to see Edwards working in a variety of roles to help serve the need of the community.
Edwards focuses on helping customers open accounts and apply for loans, but occasionally will serve as a bank teller during her coworkers’ break times.
