2013 Spokane Ag Expo photo contest winners announced

The winners of the 2013 Spokane Ag Expo Photography contest were announced recently. The theme of the contest was Agriculture in the Inland Northwest.

Winners in the adult category were: First place went to Sarah Anderson of The Dalles, Ore., for her piece titled “A Girl and Her Horse;” Second place went to Karen Baumann of Washtucna, for “Basket of Wheat at Sunset;” Third place was earned by Robert Griffith of Veradale for “Planning Ahead;” Manager’s Choice award also went to Anderson for “The One That Got Away.” Honorable mention was awarded to: Annje Esvelt of Rice, Wash., for “Father and S...
