Lind approves 2013 budget

The Lind Town Council members unanimously approved to accept the proposed the 2013 budget during the regular meeting on Dec. 11. The council also approved to amend the 2012 budget and the property tax to be levied in 2013.

After a public hearing for the 2013 budget, the council moved forward to the first matter of business: to adopt a resolution regarding property tax. With a slight increase in property tax over last year, the council agreed to levy $3.25 per thousand of assessed property valuation in Lind.
