Dorothy M. Wilson-Katsel

Dorothy (Dottie) M. Wilson-Katsel died at the age of 67, on Friday, Nov. 23, at the Hospice House in Spokane.

She was born to Richard and Dorothy Wilson on Nov. 25, 1944, in Denver, Colo.

She worked for many years as the playground supervisor at Lind Elementary School and served as troop leader for the local Cub Scouts.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Dorothy; and her first grandchild, Kimberly.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jerry Katsel; son, Kenneth (Terrie) Katsel; daughter Terri Haynes; four brothers; one sister; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and countless other relatives and extended family members she loved and cherished. She is remembered by her special guardian angel, Greg Andrews, for being there for her when no one else could.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m., at the Lind Calvary Assembly of God Church located at 219 West Third Street. Followed by a potluck reception at the Lind Lions Club located at 108 East First Street.
