The Lind Chamber of Commerce is set to host the 13th annual Lind Lighted Christmas Parade on Sunday, Dec. 9, in downtown Lind. Leading the parade will be grand marshal Beverly Lomax
The festivities begin at 3 p.m. with Santa Claus pictures, free chili, soup and hotdogs being served at the Lind Senior Center.
Judging of the parade entries begins promptly at 5 p.m., with the parade beginning at 5:30 p.m. Entries can be registered at the Lind Lions Club from 4:45-5:15 p.m. The Chamber reminds those interested in participating that it is a lighted parade and entries need to reflect the spirit of the season.
Additionally, the Christmas lighting contest is to be judged on Sunday, Dec. 16, from 6-8 p.m. For more information on Lind holiday events contact town hall at 677-3207.
