Chamber revives Christmas lighting contest

Residents and businesses within the Ritzville city limits are invited to participate in the annual Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce Christmas Lighting Contest.

First and second place winners in the 2012 lighting contest, open to residences and businesses within the city limits, will receive recognition by the chamber as well as in The Ritzville Adams County Journal for residential and commercial lighting.

In addition, the first place winners will receive $20 in Chamber Bucks and a special gift basket.

Lights and decorations need to be turned on and in place by 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 16, when a committee of judges will canvas the city for judging.
