Election divided the nation

The Journal called it a knife-edge election. It should have been (this is a divided nation). This was the last chance for the conservatives to elect a president with a Caucasian vote. This should be a wake up call to the pompous Republicans who convinced Romney that you could insult 47 percent of our population and still get elected by looking presidential. President Obama started the down and dirty race on the east coast and the Romney-Ryan ticket decided they should stay above that until it was too late. The facts were there and they decided not to use them.
