Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
Performances of Ritzville Community Theatre’s (RCT) production of “Let Him Sleep ‘Til It’s Time for His Funeral,” begin on Thursday, Nov. 8, in Trinity United Methodist Church’s social room.
The performances continue on Nov. 9-10, and each night doors open at 6:30 p.m. and curtain is at 7 p.m.
The three-night performance features veteran RCT actors, Jean Richards, Kathryn Schafer, Bill Sager, Lee Egnew and Ed Riederich. Kymberlee Webb joins the cast for the first time, and Harry Schafer returns as director.
Peg Kehret wrote the two-act comedy. The story involves a loving wife, Edna, who decides to give her depressed husband, Harold, a surprise funeral for his 60th birthday present, to show him how much he is loved by all his family and friends. This delightful mess is amazingly resolved in a second act hurricane of hilarity. A dessert buffet is to be served during intermission.
Tickets are $12 per person and available at the Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce office, and will be available at the door before each performance.
Trinity United Methodist Church is located at 107 West Second Avenue.
