RCT to perform next weekend

The Ritzville Community Theatre’s (RCT) production of “Let Him Sleep ‘Til It’s Time for His Funeral,” will be performed Nov. 8-10, in Trinity United Methodist Church’s social room. Each night doors open at 6:30 p.m. and curtain is at 7 p.m.

Under direction of Harry Schafer, the three-night performance features veteran RCT actors, Jean Richards, Kathryn Schafer, Bill Sager, Lee Egnew, Ed Riederich and newcomer, Kymberlee Webb.

The two-act comedy was written by Peg Kehret. The story involves a loving wife, Edna, who decides to give her depressed husband, Harold, a surprise funeral for his 60th birthday present, to show him how much he is loved by all his family and friends. This delightful mess is amazingly resolved in a second act hurricane of hilarity.

Tickets are $12 per person and available at the Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce office at 111 West Main Avenue. A dessert buffet is to be served during intermission.
