Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
This year the voters of Adams County are being asked to elect or re-elect two county commissioners. These two seats represent a majority of the board. One of the seats, District No. 1, has been held by the incumbent since 2000.
The district covers Adams County from the Lincoln and Whitman county lines on the east to west of SR 17 near Othello. It is no longer only a dry land area.
The voters have a chance to elect a new candidate for District No. 1, a candidate with a record of public service, a former Ritzville Councilman and a member of the Adams County Mosquito Control Board. As a businessman, John Marshall understands the budgeting process and other issues that affect the safety and well being of county residents.
John Marshall will represent both dry land and irrigated areas of the county.
I urge the voters to cast their vote for John Marshall, Adams County Commissioner District No. 1.
Maxine Taylor, Othello
