Halloween events coming to a town near you

Benge School District

The Benge School District is hosting the annual Halloween Carnival on Saturday, Oct. 27, at the school from 7-9 p.m.

Carnival games are available for the first hour and bingo finishes the evening’s events.

Soda and hot dogs are also available throughout the evening and the event is free to the public.

The school district is looking for cake and cupcake donations for the cakewalk. For more information or to make a donation contact Mary Ault at the Benge School District by calling 509-887-2370.

Lind Fire Department Halloween Chili Feed

The volunteer members of the Lind Fire Department are hosting the annual Halloween Chili Feed on Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 5-7:30 p.m.

The event is free to the public and everyone is welcome to the fire station before or after an evening of trick-or-treating, for chili and hot dogs. Refreshments will also be served.

Ritzville Grade School Fall Festival

The Ritzville Grade School is hosting a fall festival, during school hours, from 1-2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31.

The event is for preschool through fifth grade students and their families.

Washtucna Fire Department

Washtucna Fire Department hosts the annual Halloween party at the fire hall starting with a 5:30 p.m. whistle and running until the zombies go home.

Hot dogs, doughnuts and refreshments are available to those in attendance. A variety of games are also available and an appearance by Mystery Man is scheduled.

Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce

The Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting the annual Toddler Trick-or-Treat on Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 3-5 p.m.

Participating businesses will provide a treat to children five years of age and under who are accompanied by an adult.
