SEA OF PINK

Athletes, friends, family and fans were all sporting pink t-shirts Saturday when the LRS Lady Broncos hosted Odessa-Harrington for a volleyball match in Lind. The local team sold the shirts as part of volleyball’s “Dig for the Cure,” campaign. The effort is in support of the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Athletes from both teams were wearing the pink shirts before the match. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. –Journal photo by Stephen McFadden...
