Youth group seeks donations

Donate unwanted household or leftover items from weekend yard sales to the Goodwill Industries truck coming to Lind from Oct. 12 through Oct. 14.

Items accepted for payable donation include: Clothing, CDs, DVDs, purses, shoes and books. Other items are accepted but only the listed items are paid for. Goodwill Industries have offered to pay 20 cents per pound for items donated to the truck. Donation times are available on Friday from 3-6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 12-1 p.m.

The truck is to be parked on Third Street next to the Good Hope Lutheran Church and all proceeds generated will benefit the Broadcast Youth Group.
