Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
An afternoon of historical facts and trivia as well as a fully catered meal is on tap as the Adams County Historical Society hosts its annual meeting on Sunday, Oct. 21, at the Lind Community Church.
Topping the afternoon event, which begins at 1:30 p.m., is Gene Wirth’s presentation on Little Known Historical Facts About Adams County.
Wirth is a professor at Columbia Basin College. His family is a longtime name in the Lind area, and his interest in history is substantial.
Cathy Jo’s Catering is in charge of the meal. Tickets are $22 per person and are available at the Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce office in Ritzville at 111 West Main Avenue or by contacting Allan Koch at 659-1583. Individuals interested in attending the event must buy advanced tickets, as tickets will not be sold at the door this year.
Deadline to purchase tickets is Oct. 16.
