Eastern Adams County's Only Independent Voice Since 1887
The Ritzville branch of the AAUW (American Association of University Women) in cooperation with the Ritzville Area Chamber of Commerce will host an evening of candidate introductions and questions as well as an informational presentation about the Ritzville School District’s ballot proposal.
The Candidates’ Evening at the Ritz Roadhouse is set for Wednesday, Oct. 10, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Candidates for Adams County Commissioner District 1 and Adams County Commissioner District 2 will join a representative of Project 56 for an evening of information and questions. Speakers have 10-20 minutes to introduce themselves and answer questions.
Candidates for Adams County Commissioner District 1 are incumbent Rudy Plager and challenger John Marshall. Candidates for Adams County Commissioner District 2 are incumbent Roger Hartwig and challenger Oscar Garza.
Dale Anderson, who is vice president of Project 56, rounds out the list of speakers with information on the school’s ballot proposal.
The event is open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend.
