Dennis George Stark

Dennis George Stark passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, at his home in Washtucna.

He was born on Oct. 14, 1936, in Spokane to George F. and Rosalie Stark. He grew up on the family farm and helped take care of the mule team. All 12 years of school were completed in Washtucna where he enjoyed playing sports. In 1954, he graduated from Washtucna High School. He completed two years at Washington State University before being drafted into the Army in November 1959. After serving two years, he returned home to farm and raise cattle with his father.
